• Our General Pottery Taster Day is a one-day taster session with teaching available from 10am to 4pm each day

• The session is suitable for complete beginners or for those who want to develop existing skills at an intermediate level

• The session covers basic hand-building techniques including pinch pots, coil pots and slab pots and will include a demonstration of how to throw a pot on the wheel

• Maximum of 10 people

• All clay and use of equipment and tools included

• We provide aprons for you to use during the session

• We will fire up to two of your pots - you can choose a clear or white glaze

• Throughout the day, we provide a selection of drinks including fresh coffee and a variety of teas, as well as home-made cake!

• For lunch, you can either bring your own lunch or purchase something delicious from the lovely café in The National Stone Centre next door
