• Our Weekend Course is an intensive two-day course with teaching available from 10am to 4pm each day

• The course is suitable for complete beginners or for those who want to develop existing skills at an intermediate level

• The course covers basic throwing techniques and looks at techniques for throwing cylindrical forms and bowls

• We can also include teaching you how to make and attach a handle, create a spout and turn/trim a pot

• Maximum of 7 people on a course

• A wheel to yourself throughout the course

• All clay and use of equipment and tools included

• We provide throwing aprons for you to use on the course

• We will fire up to four of your pots - you can choose a clear or white glaze

• Throughout the day, we provide a selection of drinks including fresh coffee and a variety of teas, as well as home-made cake!

• For lunch, you can either bring your own lunch or purchase something delicious from the lovely café in The National Stone Centre next door
